Relief International is a Los Angeles based non-profit organization that provides emergency, rehabilitation and development assistance to needy individuals in the lesser developed world and that seeks to empower them in the process. Relief International’s programs include health, shelter, education, community-development, agriculture, income-generation and conflict resolution. Lifeline and Relief International are partnering in the Darfur region of Sudan to improve and expand existing fuel efficient stove programs so as to provide as comprehensive coverage as possible with the most efficient and sustainable stove technologies available. Refugees International. Refugees International is a Washington, D.C. based non-profit organizations whose mission it is to advocate for the cause of refugees and other displaced person across the globe. Refugees International organizes fact-finding missions for its advocates who assess humanitarian problems, identify the most urgent needs, develop immediate solutions to those needs, and advocate for those solutions with policy-makers from donor countries and international organizations. Lifeline and Refugees International have corroborated on several such fact-finding missions, including missions to Sudan, Liberia, North Korea, India and Thailand. All Nations Christian Care. All Nation’s Christian Care (“ANCC”) is a nonsectarian non-profit organization based in Uganda that provides health, shelter, water, sanitation and other forms of humanitarian assistance to displaced person in the Lira District of that country. All Nations Christian Care is a vital partner in Lifeline’s Uganda-based well drilling and fuel-efficient stove projects. Sudo (Sudan Social Development Organization) is a nongovernmental, non-partisan and non-profit organization based in Sudan. Sudo is actively involved in programs that promote human rights and peace building and that provide basic services to conflict-affected and other needy individuals throughout Sudan. Sudo has partnered with Lifeline to provide fuel-efficient stove training to internally displaced persons at the Al Salaam camp in El Fasher. |
